Hibernate 03:38
Feels like I’ve woken from a big sleep It’s been years in hibernation Hyper-focus on a big dream Don’t know where I’m going Basing everything on instinct Learned to walk and started running Fighting head versus heart It’s a war inside my body A war inside my body I surrender Guess I better I’m losing control It’s never ending but I’m learning To let go Feels like I’m making up for lost time It’s like I don't even know me And I’m going through the motions From outside my body I surrender Guess I better I’m losing control It’s never ending but I’m learning To let go Don’t let me walk away Don’t let the memory fade One word is all it takes One world too big to save Don’t let me walk away Don’t let the memory fade One word is all it takes One world too big to save

Sweetly, sweetly shallow water Autumn finally comes Winter’s lurking round the corner Deepest cold we’ve known It’s like I will run to the heart of the forest Gonna stand up tall like the legends before us Don’t look back You can never look back Feels like waiting on the thunder after lightning strikes Feels like standing in the desert Deep blue of the night It’s like I will run to the heart of the forest Gonna stand up tall like the legends before us Don’t look back You can never look back Don’t look back You can never look back

War Cry 03:39
You can not touch me or hold it above me Telling me what is real Victory calling Well I have a forcefield You can’t tell me how to feel War cry, war cry We’ll burn it all down tonight Did you think I was too weak to fight? Look out, we have arrived You can not judge me then tell me you love me It’s taken too long to heal History’s calling, repeating the pattern You know you broke the deal War cry, war cry We’ll burn it all down tonight Did you think I was too weak to fight? Look out, we have arrived Gods have spoken The beast’s awoken It’s our last hope War cry, war cry Heavenly stolen angels Taken too young The chances, given to men too often And given the sky keeps falling Heaven you keep on calling I’ve got my arms wide open Watching as stars keep falling down War cry, war cry We’ll burn it all down tonight Did you think I was too weak to fight? Look out, we have arrived Gods have spoken The beast’s awoken It’s our last hope War cry, war cry

Heavenly 03:12
Heavenly stolen angels Taken too young The chances, are given to men too often And given the sky keeps falling Heaven you keep on calling I’ve got my arms wide open Watching as stars keep falling down What are you waiting for What do you take me for? What are you waiting for What do you take me for? Time to reimagine Anything could happen Searching through distractions Sleeping at the wheel Hope to find a calling Stop your tears from falling As the world keeps turning round What are you waiting for What do you take me for? What are you waiting for What do you take me for?

about

If Kingdom Come reflects the experiences of Elle in this world, Hibernation amplifies it's delivery in the story of the character of Woodes. “She’s coming out of Hibernation into this strong version of herself,” she reveals. A percussive groove underscores “Don’t Look Back.” As the beat shuffles forward punctuated by cello, she keeps her head high and urges “Don’t look back. You can never look back.” “I see the trailer for the Woodes movie in my head,” she smiles. “It’s a grand vision of the legends before us and going after a dream. It’s gritty and immediate.” Then, there’s “War Cry.” She issues a call-to-arms for women to stand up in the face of abuse of all kinds. The acoustic guitar of “Heavenly” offers a perfect counterpoint to her wistful intonation on “Heavenly.” Her vocals hover above a whisper as she asks one final time, “What are you waiting for? What do you take me for?” Hibernation is the emergence of a new era of Woodes. Hibernation invites Woodes fans back to her unique world for her most cinematic work yet.
